Dwight Howard paid tribute to Kobe Bryant in his return to the NBA Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night. In his second dunk of the night, Howard pulled out his signature Superman costume with a blue shirt and red cape. Then he revealed that Bryant's No. 24 was written across the Superman logo in red letters

Los Angeles Lakers’ Dwight Howard pulled out the stops and the super hero cape to honor his late friend Kobe Bryant on Saturday during the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Wearing a Superman shirt with Bryant’s No. 24 on his chest and a Superman cape on his back, Howard threw down a massive dunk off a lob thrown from behind the backboard.

Howard received a score of 49 for the dunk but did not qualify for the final round.
